How long have you worked at SDC?
June 8, 2022 will be 13 years.
What do you do at SDC?
I support the weatherization program by purchasing products, equipment, and inventory. I coordinate the weatherization safety programs including equipment and fleet operations, training, and asbestos sampling, while maintaining SDC’s 1810 Warehouse.
What motivates you? Why do you do this work?
I am motivated knowing that the weatherization team can serve our customers with high quality equipment, knowledge and expertise.
Describe a time when you felt like your work at SDC made a difference in someone’s life:
While providing information about SDC Services at Outreach Events or Open Houses, the Customers are genuinely impressed with what SDC can do for them when they are in need and qualify for quality services. At one Elderly persons home after the WX Team provided a NEW Furnace and Insulation for her home….she told me, ‘it was the first night that she could remember where she didn’t need three blankets on the bed to stay warm at night.’ That tells me, we are doing something right!
Tell us something people don’t know about you:
I have played in multiple local bands as a Bass Guitarist, Guitarist, Singer and ALL AROUND GOOF BALL!

My dream vacation is a two or three week drive down US Hwy 1 on the West Coast, Seattle to San Diego, stopping at all the AWESOME sites.

Cal Ripken Jr. – The Iron Man who played 2632 consecutive games – that is over 16 seasons!!!
Favorite local restaurant?
The Butler Inn in Pewaukee.
Favorite hobby?
Golf – I am a FOOL for that game. I play with friends, on golf leagues, a member at Brown Deer Golf Club, and I play competitive amateur Golf in the Milwaukee County Public Links Association (MCPLA) and the Wisconsin State Golf Association (WSGA). I also have volunteered at Professional Tournaments – PGA, LPGA, Symetra Tour, and the First Tee and Junior Tournaments.
