Are you interested in entering the construction industry, receiving certification, and being prepared to find a great paying new job? If so, register now to learn more about SDC’s Absolute Advantage Pre-Apprenticeship Class.
Absolute Advantage is a 12-week pre-apprenticeship course for income-eligible applicants. Students gain valuable knowledge in residential construction, deconstruction, demolition, environmental services and everything you need to know to enter the workforce as a pre-apprentice. Students gain hands-on experience through opportunities created by SDC’s partnership with Ezekiel Community Development Corporation.

Upon completion of Absolute Advantage, students receive national certification from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), OSHA 10 Construction Safety, Lead Abatement Certification (additional eligibility requirements) and a Completion Certificate of a Certified Pre-Apprenticeship Program from Wisconsin Apprenticeship Systems.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Have a high school diploma/ equivalency or open to obtain.
- Possess or be eligible to obtain a valid driver’s license.
- Availability and willingness to participate.
