Emergency Services

We are here to help in your time of need.

Life happens.

And we’re here when you need help.

The Social Development Commission (SDC) recognizes that due to circumstances beyond one’s control, hardship may unexpectedly occur and impact a person’s ability to meet basic needs.

The pandemic has had a devastating and disproportionate impact on low-income people who were already struggling before the pandemic. More than a year after COVID-19 hit, many people are still unable to work and therefore unable to pay bills, rent, or even buy groceries.

No one should have to struggle to feed their family. We opened the Emergency Food Pantry to help provide resources in emergency circumstances.
