How long have you worked at SDC?
I have been with SDC for a little over a month.
What do you do at SDC?
I am a Lead Housing Intake Specialist. Within my role, I provide professional support via email, phone, and in-person to our customers and team in the housing programs.
What motivates you? Why do you do this work?
I am motivated by the outcomes and supporting SDC’s housing programs.
Describe a time when you felt like your work at SDC made a difference in someone’s life:
Everyday, I feel with each interaction with applicants I make some difference by moving with conviction. By showing them that I am here for them and helping them by moving with a sense of urgency. For example, today I am assisting an applicant over the phone. She was so appreciative of me just helping her submit her application and being a listening ear in her time of need.
Tell us something people don’t know about you:
I am a closet singer.
