Absolute Advantage

Fast Track Your
Construction Career

Are you a recent graduate, unemployed or underemployed? Are you interested in entering the construction industry, receiving certification, and being ready to find a great paying new job? If you answered “yes,” register now to learn more about SDC’s Absolute Advantage Construction Training Program.

Absolute Advantage is a 9-week training course for income-eligible applicants and will teach you everything you need to know to enter the workforce as a skilled general laborer. You won’t just learn things in the classroom, you’ll work on actual job sites in the community thanks to our partnership with Ezekiel Community Development Corporation.

Our program provides an introductory path to careers in:

  • Carpentry
  • Electrical
  • HVAC
  • Roofing
  • Concrete Finishing
  • Heavy Machine Operator
  • Plumbing

Upon completion of Absolute Advantage, you will receive national certification from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and OSHA 10 Construction Safety.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalency.
