Become a Commissioner and make an impact on poverty in Milwaukee County.
SDC is seeking candidates to fill six seats for the Board of Commissioners. Candidates will be up for election for the community representative seats that serve on behalf of six districts comprised of low-income residents living in Milwaukee County. Members of the community interested in having their name appear on the ballot must meet requirements for candidacy.
- 18 years of age or older

Why should you consider being an Elected District Commissioner of the Social Development Commission?
The SDC Board of Commissioners provides guidance and leadership to the Social Development Commission. SDC is the largest Community Action Agency in both Milwaukee County and the state of Wisconsin. The agency delivers numerous programs impacting the lives of Milwaukee County residents experiencing poverty. The leadership of the Board assists SDC in achieving its mission, Empowering Milwaukee County residents with the resources to move beyond poverty.
