Milwaukee Rental Assistance Program

The 2020 Milwaukee Rental Assistance Program has come to an end.

We are waiting to hear more about relief funds for 2021. Updates will be posted here as soon as we receive notification.

If you have already submitted a request for assistance, your name is on our list. We will continue to work from this list on a first-come, first-serve basis once we receive funding. We ask for your patience.

Last year, the Social Development Commission was able to help over 7,000 families by providing more than $16 million in rental assistance. While payments varied, on average, we distributed $2328.00 to individual households in need of help.

We believe rental assistance is essential as we help Milwaukee County families impacted by the pandemic.

We will keep you informed of any new developments.
