Since the start of the pandemic, COVID-19 has turned the world upside down, claiming the lives of so many of our loved ones.
That’s why when the COVID-19 vaccine became available, SDC wanted to make sure that people in our community had access to it.
“We want to make it convenient, especially for those folks who don’t have transportation or have transportation issues in the neighborhood,” said Dr. Hinton.
In May 2021, SDC partnered with Ascension Wisconsin to host two pop-up vaccination clinics at SDC’s North Avenue and Northwest office locations. Ascension brought the Pfizer vaccines and SDC secured over 85 people including a mix of staff, community members, and children 12 and up to get vaccinated.
