Milwaukee County is home to one of Wisconsin’s largest Hmong communities. In recognition of Hmong Heritage Month, we’re talking about Hmong history and culture.
In this podcast, Chia Youyee Vang, a SDC Commissioner and scholar, shares insight into one of Milwaukee’s largest immigrant communities. Vang’s research and writing focuses on the Hmong diaspora and community-building efforts among Hmong people in the United States.
