How long have you worked at SDC?
I have worked at SDC since September 2017

What do you do at SDC?
My title is Assistant Instructor, but I identify as the SDC HSED Instructor.

What motivates you?
The students that I work with motivate me.

Describe a time when you felt like your work at SDC made a difference in someone’s life.
Every GED/HSED Graduation ceremony at Cooley Auditorium. It’s a red carpet celebration for the students!!!

Tell us something people don’t know about you
I was a GED Teacher in the prisons of the Department of Corrections for over 16 years and only left to do the same job in the community where the attainment of a GED/HSED has the immediate impact of removing the obstacles of employment and the pursuit higher education.
