Election Day for SDC Board of Commissioners Districts 5 and 6!

Save the date: Election day is April 19, 2022. If you live in District 5 or 6, vote for your SDC elected commissioner from 12:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. on Tuesday April 19, 2022.

SDC is seeking candidates to fill the district 5 and 6 seats on SDC’s Board of Commissioners. Candidates will be up for election for the community representative seat that serves on behalf of district 5 and 6 comprised of low-income residents living in Milwaukee County.

We are looking for you to do two things:

  1. Run for office by being candidate! Are you passionate about your community and the fight against poverty? Run for office! Check our website for eligibility requirements.
  2. Get out and VOTE! | Tuesday, April 19th | 12:00pm – 6:00pm
    This is your opportunity to vote for someone in the community to fight against poverty and make a difference.

To Vote:

  • Be a Milwaukee County resident
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be a U.S. citizen or a legal immigrant
  • Be a resident of district 5 or 6
  • Provide one form of identification, such as a driver’s license, Wisconsin identification card, a Senior Citizen ID, etc.
  • Proof of residency, such as a utility bill or rent receipt (something with your address)
