If you an Able Bodied Adult Without Dependents (ABAWDs), between the ages of 18-49, you may be at risk of losing your FoodShare benefits. New eligibility rules went into effect April 1. If you do not qualify for an exemption, you must participate in the FoodShare Employment and Training (FSET) program. When you apply for or renew your FoodShare benefits you will have to meet a work requirement. if you do not meet the FSET work requirement for 3 months (consecutive or nonconsecutive) during a 36-month period, you may lose your FoodShare for the rest of the 36 months.
