Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How can I qualify for the Weatherization Program?
A. The program is called the Home Energy Plus Program. An owner/ tenant would have to apply for Energy Assistance before qualifying for weatherization. Clients are taken from the Energy Assistance database by the Division of Energy services and a list of qualifying applicants are forward to us. We only contact clients from the list provided to us by the Division of Energy Service to receive weatherization services.
Q. What is the Application Process?
A. The prioritized client list is provided to us by the Division of Energy Services. Clients are contacted in the order on the list. Before weatherization work is started, an Audit is done to determine needed measures. These findings are sent to a contractor to start work and to install the recommended measures. All work performed must pass a final inspection.
