Senior Companions

Program Description

For more than 30 years, the Senior Companion Program has provided in-home services to Milwaukee County's homebound, frail elderly. Senior Companion income-eligible volunteers, adults 60 years and older, provide assistance to older adults to help them remain independent in their own homes.   Services include adult day care, respite, transportation, and outreach services. The program assists clients and provides an opportunity for adult volunteers to remain active in the community.
