Get Checking

Program Description
Get Checking™ classes are offered in conjunction with the National Get Checking™ program. This six-hour course presents participants with the opportunity to open a bank or credit union account with a participating local financial institution.

Eligibility
18 years or age and older.

Q. What is the Get Checking class?

A. The Get Checkign program is a way for you to restore your ability to open a checking account.

Q. How do I sign up for Get Checking?

A. You can come in and complete a registration form and bring in the registration fee.

Q. Ho wmuch is the registration fee?

A. The registration fee is $40 for singles and $60 for couples.

Q. What do I need to bring?

A. Please bring your ChexSystems report if you have it.

Q. Will I get a certificate?

A. You will get a certificate tha tyou can take to the bank of your choice to open an account.

Q. How long is the class?

A. The class is six hours usually held on a Saturday or two evenings a week.
