Program Description
The SDC’s energy house is a model house that is used to provide information and tips on how to save energy and make your home more comfortable. Visitors, by taking tours, will learn to conserve electricity, gas, and water. Visitors will be given an energy conservation kit to use at home.

Q.  Are tours available in Spanish?

A.  Yes, Spanish tours are available and appointments are necessary.

Q. Are group tours available?

A. Yes, group tours are available and appointments are necessary.

Q. Are tours only for homeowners?

A. No, tours are for both homeowners and renters.

Q.  Are appointments necessary for tour?

A.  Individuals may tour on Saturday mornings at 9:30 A.M. Spanish and group tours require appointments. 

Q.  How long do the tours last?

A.  Tours are approximately 20 minutes long.
