In-Kind Donations

SDC defines a Gift-in-Kind as a non-cash donation of a good or service. SDC gratefully accepts Gifts-in-Kind that support the fulfillment of our imporant mission to move Milwaukee County Residents Beyond Poverty.

Our Family Strengthening programs are in need of:

  • Any toiletries
  • Hair care products
  • Household cleaning products
  • Laundry products
  • Organization Supplies
  • Jump Drives
  • Organizing Binders and folders
 
Our Education and Training programs are in need of:

  • Two person tables for classroom - with smooth finish for writing
  • Cold Laminate supplies & machine for student name tags
  • Mirado Black Warrior Pencils
  • White Boards and Markers for White Boards
  • Casio FX - 260 solar calculators
  • Good 2 sided feed scanner
 

The Head Start Youth we serve
(ages 2 & 4) are in need of:  

  • Books
  • Diapers & Baby Supplies
  • Hats, Gloves
  • Car Seats
 

The YFDP Youth we serve (ages 13-21) are in need of:

  • Health & Hygiene products
  • Back Packs & school supplies
  • Art Supplies for Art Therapy Sessions
  • Tickets to games, concerts etc. for families to attend together
 

The Seniors we serve through the
Senior Companion Program are in need of:  

  • Board games, checkers, cards & puzzles
  • Grocery Store Gift Certificates
  • Department Store Gift Certificates
 

The residents we serve through the Weatherization
program are in need of:

  • Window insulator kits
  • Electrical Power strips
  • Door draft stops or sweeps
  • LED night lights
  • Electrical wall switch/outlets sealers
 

The administration of SDC would gratefully accept the following items that allow us to keep our overhead low:

  • Plants and flower baskets
  • Paint
  • Office supplies & stamps
  • Printing services

The Social Development Foundation is prohibited by IRS regulations from establishing monetary values for gifts of real or personal property.  Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.

To donate, please complete the In-Kind Donation form and deliver with donation to Jenny Gryniewicz at 4041 N. Richards St.
